Are you actually licensed in all 50 states?
We hold coverage in all 50 states and assign every project to an engineer individually licensed in the state where it will be permitted. Your quote names that engineer and confirms their licence in your state before you pay anything. Where a state also requires a firm registration or certificate of authorization, we confirm the registered entity issuing the work on the same quote.
Does the code really differ that much from state to state?
Substantially. States sit on different I-Code editions — some on the 2024 cycle, some still on 2018 — and those editions reference different versions of ASCE 7, which changes wind, snow and seismic loading. Some states adopt statewide; others leave adoption to counties and cities. Oklahoma writes storm shelters into the code; Florida runs its own building code entirely. Designing to the wrong edition is the fastest way to a rejected submittal, so we confirm the governing code in writing before we start.
My project crosses a state line. Can you handle that?
Yes. Multi-state portfolios and projects near a border are routine for us. Each permit set is sealed by an engineer licensed in the state where that permit is filed, and we coordinate the design so the packages stay consistent across jurisdictions.
How fast can I get sealed drawings?
Most residential and light commercial packages are delivered in three to five business days once we have the information we need, and quotes usually come back the same business day. Your quote states the delivery date before you commit.
What does it cost?
Every project is quoted as a written fixed fee before work starts — no hourly billing and no change-order surprises. The fee depends on the sheet count, the disciplines involved and the building type. Send your plans or a short description and we will return a firm number at no cost.
I already have drawings. Can you just review and stamp them?
Often, yes. An engineer licensed in your state reviews the set against the code edition your jurisdiction enforces, tells you what needs to change, and applies the seal once the package complies. We do not stamp drawings we have not verified — if something is wrong, you hear about it before you pay, not after.
