Can you work from my architect’s plans or an existing survey?
Absolutely, and it is the fastest path. A boundary or topographic survey, architectural site plan, or even a dimensioned sketch gives us the base information needed to engineer against. If no survey exists we will tell you whether one is required by your jurisdiction before the design starts.
Do you prepare stormwater detention and drainage calculations?
Yes. We size storm sewer, inlets, culverts, detention and retention facilities against your jurisdiction’s design storm and produce a sealed calculation report to accompany the drawings. Where an erosion and sediment control plan or SWPPP is required for permitting, that is prepared as part of the same package.
What happens if the plan reviewer returns comments?
We respond to plan-review comments and revise the sealed drawings as part of the original engagement, not as a separate change order. Responding to a reviewer is a normal part of permitting, and the engineer of record stays on the project until the permit is issued.
What do you need from me to get started?
